Classes

Music Safari

Is your child ready to actually play music? Music Safari is where kids discover which instrument feels right for them while building real musicianship skills from day one. Over 30 weeks, your child learns keyboard, ukulele, and songwriting alongside other kids their age. No experience needed.

What happens in Music Safari:

Your child walks in never having played an instrument. By the end of the year, they understand rhythm, melody, and how to practice like a real musician. They'll read music, know what they want to play next, and have the foundation to start private lessons with confidence.

We're not trying to turn everyone into concert pianists. We're helping kids figure out who they are as musicians.

The practical stuff:

Wednesdays, 4:30-5:15 PM | September 17 – May 13 (30 classes)
Classes skip: November 26, December 24 & 31, February 18, April 22

Investment: $1,000 ($960 tuition + $40 registration)

What's included: Method book, supplies, access to keyboards during class.

Your role as a parent:

You don't have to sit in on classes. But kids do better when someone at home cares about their practice. We're talking 10-15 minutes a day, five days a week. That's it. Your kid gets better, builds identity as a musician, and you're part of that.

Who teaches it:

Brenda Lau a singer/songwriter who genuinely loves helping kids find their voice.

Before you register:

Music Together is great prep if your child is under 5, but it's not required. Kids move straight into Music Safari with no experience all the time.
